So excited...VinnyJ and I just got our Daytona baby purchases. VinnyJ's 2 cornsnakes came and he will definately have to post some pics tonight. They are gorgeous, and my 2 hypo sonora boas came. What a great day!!! So excited... :)

She couldn't take the pics even if she wanted too... I took the memory card with me to work. :grin01: I guess I should have a backup memory card for emergency situations like this ;).

:grin01: You know, they are pretty cheap now..... should always have at least a 1G backup... in case you need to shoot a couple thousand, "Look what I got pics...." :sidestep:

We are getting restless waiting on pics. We may end up breaking a couple of things since we are bored.

That bloodred has some awesome diffusion! That is going to be a stunning adult snake - you must keep us updated on the progress!

The Bloodred does not look like a Stripe. A Striped Motley, perhaps?
Still, that is one gorgeous youngster! Congrats!

Thank you. I'll try and take some pics every once in a while for an update. I love it when hatchlings are so diffused. Every shed they just get better. :)

Thank you. This came from a stripe to stripe breeding where there were cubes and conventional stripes. This one is kind of in between but still considered a stripe. If it were bred to another stripe all the babies would be stripes. At least that's how I understand it. :shrugs: The stripe/cube thing hasn't been completely explained yet as far as I know.

Nice snake. I have creamsicle stripe/cube babies that look similar in pattern. Cube seems to appear in both stripe and motley, and I'm starting to think it's a seperate gene that only gets expressed when one of those two is present.

Thank you. That's interesting. In that case... I wonder what it would look like all on it's own.

Ah, I see.

Cubed had, very briefly, crossed my mind but ... have to admit that I am not quite up on all the "ins & outs" of cubed (except hearing it said that cubed occurs in Stripes, or Motleys, or both ... depending on who the "speaker" is).

So, anyway ... in seeing that the pattern was not the customary Striped, I guess it left me wondering on what pattern it truly was.

Thanks for the explanation upon your beautiful snake's breeding/pattern.:)

I love that Blood! Great choice for sure... I was thinking of parting with my Sunkissed pair, but after taking them out for their photo shoot, there was no way. They just get better looking with every shed, so I expect updates on that one too :D
