Zoomed 500R Thermostat users...

They really should read the same, but I've given up trying to make sense of it.

Yeah, seriously, my philosophy is that if it's in the allowable range at all three places all the time, no harm done in letting it slide. (Which does happen to be the case.) I also use a human oral probe thermometer to double check any temps if I think I may have a problem.
 
Mine stays in the 80-84 range with the average being 81-83.

As far as getting 2 different readings between tanks... could it be where the thermometer is placed on the UTH? I have heard that the temp can vary throughout these things.

Not varying a few degrees- one mat was completely cold and the other would only heat to 75 while its companion mat was in the upper 80's. There definitely is a temp difference between an upper and lower viv, though. If I'm running one thermostat on two vivs, I put the probe on the upper, hotter one.

My problems were all pre-Herpstat.

Still on alot of meds and cream, vet induced a shed and she is looking better. still in pain but getting better apart from she is now seasonal fasting.......... just my luck.

Ouch, that looks very painful. Poor thang. Hopefully she recovers quickly.
