Hamburg Show Pickup! Tooooo cute for words! (not a bird Lori)

whippet

Tara
So we delivered 3 nice male BPs to Rick at Hamburg today...and then walked around gawking at everything. For several months we have been thinking about this pickup...but the last couple of shows didn't have a single one. But low and behold...Hamburg was swamped with lots of little babies just like we wanted.
Yep! A sulcata! This will be for our educational programs, as well as a much loved pet. We don't have a huge yard yet...but will in the short future so she/he will get a nice outdoor pen. For now she is going downstairs in the basement to grow up a bit. :)
Named her Lucille! ...and if it turns out to be a boy...lucifer it is! Ha! This is now offically going to be our biggest herp! And a lifelong companion!

Thanks for the warning, Tara! Soooo cute!! I'm going to have to pack up V and do a road trip to see the new zoo review!

Congrats! I've always thought that baby sulcata's are too cute for their own good, and yours is no exception!

Congrats! I don't know if I'd keep a large tortoise like that, but she's very cute. I've heard they make interesting pets because they're very intelligent.

grrr...i wanted to go soooo badly!!! So unfair that I had to work!! lol..Very nice addition :)

There really is nothing cuter than a baby sulcata!! Congrats on the new family member ladies!!!
