Upper Keys Bloodreds

Nice Walter. The "natural hypo" and faded patterns of the Upper Key corns really combine well with the diffusion of the bloodreds...together you can really see the influences of both... can't wait to see what the adults turn out looking like...should have great diffusion (which many of these outcrossed bloodred morphs could use).

I should have done that years ago but I was always a purists and kept my Key Corn lines as locality matched animals. But wow- the rosy influence really is looking good these days within morphs..

Yeah the Upper Keys sure does wonders for bumping up the diffusion in the Blood lines. I have a 1.2 trio of adults that these came from, but only one of the females was of breeding size last year.

This year I will be able to breed both females. They are also het Amel so I have a better shot at a Upper Keys Butter Blood or two this year, as I missed that target last year with only the one female breeding and low clutch count for her first breeding.

Wow!! That caramel upper keys blood is outstanding! The initial caramel based bloods that were popping up really had me bummed about the diffusion. I was thinking that maybe the caramel gene somehow limited or interfered with the diffusion. Yours really shows that you can have a smoking caramel blood. They're all great!

you are absolutley correct. I have noticed though after a little selective line breeding they are getting better, BUT when combined with the Upper Keys, well it's pretty obvious......WAAAAAY BETTER !!
