Interesting Petsmart trick

Hides

The ones that want to hide, I do opposite with,I dont feed them for awhile and put them in a high traffic area. They will get used to you sooner or later!.......;)

I know very little about hermit crabs...but don't they already have a shell? Do they really need a hide?

I can run around the beach and grab some coconuts... In fact I have one that I caught while fishing... put up a pretty good fight trying to get it to shore too... only thing I ever kept fishing the Gulf as well... I heard you can't eat them because they're sprayed to prevent a fungus, bacteria, or pest... or that's just what they tell the tourists to keep them out of the trees...

It's not just PetSmart. One of the local, non chain, pet stores operates the same way. I will on occasion us a sticky thermometer as a back up in tubs. Just in case a battery dies or something. I can keep an eye on how accurate they are and get an idea what temps are in the tub. Anywho!!

While looking for thermostats, I always meander my way over to the Hermit Crab section and take a look. UTH's, Thermostats and Water Bowls are always cheaper.

Our petsmart doesnt tend to label the morphs on the corn snakes. Instead there is Normal and Fancy Corn Snakes.

I just always remember that Petco has that crazy snack bar of dog treats (is that what they are? I've never actually bought them) in all the different colors/types.

And I am an equal opportunity lover of coconut.

Yes it's Petco that has that and don't ask me how I know but those dog cookies that look like Safeway brand oreos taste a lot like Safeway brand oreos........

This whole coconut discussion reminds me of Zombieland "I hate coconut! Not the taste, the consistency!" Love that movie.
