Can't Keep A Secret
Yay! Progression thread! :D

Una arrived last Wednesday (March. 10th) from Walter Smith. Today, she allowed me to weigh her and feed her. She ate her pinky mouse like a champ. :cool: I think I gave her a size too small, but I wanted to be cautious for the first feeding.

To be honest, for a baby she is not nearly as skittish as I thought she would be. She let me pick her right up out of her tub without a fuss. She wasn't too keen on going into the deli cup, but calmed down really quickly even then. I can tell already, she's going to be a lot of fun to grow up!

I'm sorry I only have one photo for now. I really am trying to take it easy on her. Oh, and don't mind the weight displayed on the scale. I took the lid off the deli cup for the photo which threw the weight off. She's actually 14g. :dancer:

When I first started looking for my first corn snake last year and was researching morphs, I saw photos of Tesseras and wanted one SOOOOOO badly. I figured I would never be able to get my hands on one. Then Una appeared, and I just could not pass up the opportunity!

Really, I can't wait until I can share more photos! :D
 
OOOOH! Congrats. I too just LOVE the look of the Tessera.

I am getting mine next week from Soderberg and am counting the days he will come. (I think I gonna call mine Tazz)

They are one of the most beautiful morphs yet. I am imagining yellow Tesseras down the line...

I'm not sure what kind of Tesseras I'm imagining down the line yet. Lucky for me, I should have a couple years to figure out my plans for little Una. :p
 
Every time I see a post for Tessera I have to share my excitement for this morph. It is awsome...something new and genetically different for the collectors of the world. I can't wait my boy is growing really fast...should be breeding for me in the next 8-12 months easily. Here are some older pics he's grown since these.

He certainly is a lovely looking little guy!!! Another snake on my "OMG must have, I only wish" list.

They ARE beautiful, though now I think I can say I'm thoroughly biased. :p I'm already enjoying my Una quite a bit. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
