A Hypo Comparison

Susan

Go Ahead, Make My Day!
First up is Ravi, my '09 hypo het anery Sunkissed 50% het amel motley male. He is typical of the hypos I've hatched out over the years and will actually be the first one, other than a hypo motley, that I've kept to grow up so I have no idea how he will look as an adult.

Now the comparison...This is Takusume, my '08 female hypo het anery caramel motley. At hatching, her entire clutch looked so much like normals that I've questioned the genetics of the parents for over a year. However, as time went by, I can see that she really is a hypo, just a dark one that shows the variety that can be seen in this morph.

Very nice Hypos! Especially liking the 2nd, it looks like 3 snakes rolled in to 1. You can kinda see caramel influence in the head, and the tail section oddly dark bordered. She is getting more orange as she ages?

Beautiful depth of field shots; very well done, oh, and great looking snake too! I wish I had a tree in our backyard; just may buy one for some shade in a couple of weeks then in a year or so I can get some similar shots of our guys hanging around.

Any worry about them coming off the tree and slithering away quickly???

Thanks! And no, I'm not worried about them getting away from me as I'm always right there watching them and if they start to move away, I just reach out and stop them.
