Nothing, a friend is going to move back with his mom since his roommate moved out and he can't afford the place on his own so he told me that i can have the boa and set up for $50 but my mom would never let me buy one so i am taking care of it till he finds someone to buy it or until it grows on my mom and she let's me buy it, which is working out great! ;)

Too bad you're not European. I would've bought it immediately!

Well i'm glad i'm not European cause i need a good month or so and i'll buy the boa myself :grins: lol

The PO didn't know much... I was on Redtailboas.com a while ago and i asked them and they said that she is an Orange Hog Island Boa. The PO said she is ABOUT 2.5 years old and she is probly 3.5 feet long. The Island boas don't get as big as the other boas which i do like. I didn't use the snake measurer on her cause i didn't wanna have her out too much since i just got her last night. As far as i know, there is only the one normal morph of the Hog Island Boa because all of them came off of a couple islands off of the coast of South Africa. I know there are completely different Island Boas but i believe there is only one Hog. I'm not a Boa Master, so don't quote me, i am just going off of what they told me a while back when i asked so if anyone knows it better than i do then please chime in :)

I mean South America... Should've proof read before i hit enter lol

xD

Either way, she is gorgeous. Love to have me some boas, but I'm not sure a tub size is made that could accommodate a 7ft female hog.

She is stunning! Much prettier than a lot of them. I love the peach tones on her. Quite a find!

Thank you!! The sides of her body (Besides close to her white head) almost match my skin tone, kinda hard to see in the picture but she is amazing. I can't wait for my week probation to be over so i can run up and handle her! lol

Oh my goodness! She's beautiful! I just love the look of her. Don't let her get away, ya hear? You'll kick yourself forever if you don't find a way to make her yours :).

Gorgeous Hoggie!! Hopefully you'll figure out a way to keep her. Can you just buy her and not tell your mom that you paid your friend?

Actually, there are tubs that can house adult female boas. The Iris Christmas tree tubs are 4'4"x18"x16". Plus, a female Hog probably won't get much bigger than 5' (there are exceptions, but that's the average size).

There are no current morphs in Hog Islands, however, their colors and spotting patterns can vary significantly between individuals.

Lovely Hog. I always enjoy the ones with extra numerous spots!

Thanks! I'm glad that not all of them are alike, i'd much rather have one that "not everyone can get". Makes her more special to me! :)

Oh i know what you mean, i'm gonna have to make it happen cause she is a beauty and i definitely do not want to see her go

GORGEOUS!!!! I love her!

I was waiting for you to see her Jenber! Unfortunately my parents don't share my same interest in her color though. My mom states "She doesn't have as bright of colors as the other one (referring to my Normal Corn lol), seems too pale, i don't really like that" :nope: Way to break my heart mom...

I just wish that photo's capture all the color, you can barely tell that the sides of her body match my skin tone... I wish i could plop her on a table and all of you come over and check her out! lol. A photo will never replace seeing these beautiful animals in person...

They are kinda their own "morph" I think...They are a naturally occurring "hypo" boa...You find alot of HoggXBCI's for sale, as I think (no expert here either) it gets expressed as a co-dominant trait, with some of the baby crosses appearing hypo...

Very pretty, hope ya buy it :*)

I was thinking about doing that :grin01:

That's what i was thinking too

When i search for the island the correct term is Hog Island spelled with one g but when people say hogg for short, there is always 2 g's. Which is it actually? do you only use the double g when you are shortening it? or is that how it's actually spelled?

And a Hogg is a BCI? right? Still new to all the terms

...Very pretty, hope ya buy it :*)

Thanks and i'm figuring out a way! :D
