Hey guys.. So I haven't been on here much at all lately. I have had a ton going on. Figured I would share a few vivs hubby and I are building/built.

First up is Ivans (buckskin Okeetee)new home.. Its huge 4ft long x 2ft deep and 18inches tall. We have a ball python and a boa that have Identical set ups. I wanted them all to match. We made it out of Oak plywood and used Plexi glass on the doors. I put a 2 part epoxy finish on the inside floor to make it 100% water resistant and easy clean up. I sealed it all with a natural whey based urethane, Used a RHP ( radiant heat panel ) to allow for a heat radiant and rope lighting for affect.

Thanks guys...

Jmichael steal away! I got a few Idea's from some people on another forum I'm on. I am in the middle of building another 1 right now. A little different seeing as it is for my GTP but still the basic classy box style as these.

Very nice job. You will like the ""drop down" doors. I build mine, but smaller and not as nice, and I door open with ease and it's great getting in to the viv.

Wghen you have time show me how that heat works again? Picture maybe.

I have one I have been using for almost a year. I love the doors opening down. As for the heat I use the Radiant heat panel. It heats the sub-straight below it then radiates heat to keep the ambient temp where it should be. Here is a photo before I put anything into the tub.
