Tub Size

I've been searching around on here and all over the internet trying to figure out my best options. I'll be up to 6 snakes soon. I need to get rid of all these tanks. I wanted a stackable unit. Like vision cages. However they cost a lot. Then I was thinking maybe I should get racks. However most of the ones I've found cost just as much!

Anyway I was wondering what is a good size tub for an adult corn snake? I do really hate to put them in tubs. All the racks I've found are either long and really short or tall and not very wide. I want wide and a little bit tall. My snakes seem to enjoy climbing and I don't want to take that away from them. But I will if I have too. I found a rack that has 32q tubs in it. But feel it's a bit too small. Any advise?

If I get the vision cages, (they aren't as tall as I'd like either) they look like shavings would fall out. I see no ledge to help keep bedding in.

I need something under $1000 for at least 6 snakes. I can't build anything and even if I could I have nowhere to build anything. No one to help me build anything. So I'm stuck and really need help!

I use Animal Plastics Economy Plastic 66 quarts for adults. My racks are 5 high. You wouldn't want to go higher than that. But I bet they could make them shorter- like four high, get two- you have room for expansion!! You get the Sterilite bins at Target; they are one of the few models left without the latches and accompanying problems.

I would! :nyah:

Seriously though, AP racks are awesome. I have 2 and wouldn't hesitate to order more. The "Nanci Specials" (66qt) are very nice for a small collection.
