Arizona Reptile Expo

We will be there doing "snake photos" in our mobile photo studio - and also photographing any specimens or pets anyone needs photos of.

Stop by and say "Hi"!

I'll be going as well, and I do technically have an empty tank and like 50 pinkies left that my baby snake went and outgrew on me. :)

Sucks that we can't bring our snakes with us. I'll just have to settle for bringing my Cal King to the Pavilions car show instead (mega turnout expected as Good Guys is in town this weekend).

I didn't realize this show was a big deal. Is it going to be like all those Snakebytes episodes with Burmese Pythons and tame alligators and stuff like that?

Wait!! Good guys is this weekend!!! Why didn't my father tell me? Or my husband for that matter?

Well, there sure weren't many corn snakes there today. Mostly just a few common morphs. I did however, almost come home with a dumerils boa. They were so cute and one guy had them for only $75.00! I also loved the legless lizards. I held one of those and you can totally tell that they really aren't snakes. They don't move or feel like snakes at all, but they were really cool.

Did anyone get anything good? I'm so tempted to go back tomorrow to get a dumerils - I just don't think I have the space for one. :(

Hypno: LOL. I came home with a Dumerils. I paid $150 though. I even looked at that guy's booth, because he's local and I've been to his shop in north PHX, and I didn't see any Dumerils. I was ticked at first, when I later saw them for $75, but my guy is so pretty. I attached a picture, which I never know if they're going to show up. In this picture, you can't really see all of the peach color in his back. He's so gorgeous!

I'm thrilled with him. Now he needs a name.

Overall, I enjoyed the expo. It was our first one. My son picked up a Mex Mex King snake. I don't know. Never heard of them. But he's very mellow and friendly and a really pretty mix of nice rich colors.

Cool snakes.

Seemed a little smaller than I expected and I didn't see any corns I wanted to pick up. Most were very overpriced, apparently I should have vended after all.

I did pick up my first ball pythons though, I'll add some photos later.

1.0 Killer Bee
0.1 Pewter
0.1 Yellow Belly

Their babies should be really fun when they arrive.
