New 41qt rack

Thought I would share my new rack I built. For a few years I have kept most of my snakes in tanks. Recently I put a few in bins but my girl, Tang, will always have her huge 45g Long home.

Here is what my first rack system looked like

I just built this one a few days ago. A lot easier! I will be going this route more often. 41qt rack

I just want to say that tub racks work a lot better! The temps are all the same and it's easy to go about messing with the snakes.

Lol why not? My room has a spare bathroom in it. The tub has no shower and so no one uses it. My room gets way too cold in the winter, like 60 degrees or less sometimes, and it's too large to keep heated all the time when I'm barely in it. So I put a space heater in there, mounted a light to the right, and keep the doors shut to keep a constant 75-78 air temp.

My "reptile room" plus I have a sink handy and if we weren't renting, I'd tear out the bathtub and the toilet to make a much taller rack system with more bins and counter space.

It also use to hold some painted turtles lol

I have kept a box turtle in my master bathroom bath tub, before. For the winter.
