I have just been to buy some pinkies, i had a shock at the price, 60pence each!! Can anyone tell me if this is the normal price or is it expensive??
Marg.

yes check out online, I am in spain and from the pet shops they are about €1 each but you can get them for half the price if you shop online, I have now taken to breeding my own.

That's just crazy cheap. I wouldn't think you could feed mice Ol' Roy and sell them for that!

Bought 500 small pinkies for .13 cents each from Big Cheese a few weeks ago when they had a sale. Now they are .20 cents...

Mice Direct. I have not ordered mice since last October. I produce enough to feed my snakes. I need pinkies for hatchlings now, though. I have never had an issue with Mice Direct. I have gotten mice from them for a few years. I'll be the first to let you know if I have any issues. I have had problems with Rodent Pro. Used to buy from Big Cheese until they had problems filling orders. Their product was excellent.

I'd be interested to hear how the pinks look. I have had issues with Mice Direct- broken bags, mice all over the dry ice.

I'n not crazy about MD, but I'd try them again.

The verdict is in. Mice Direct shipment just arrived. I got small pinkys and adults. They look great. They are very clean and have no unpleasant odor. A few legs broken off of the pinkys in the bottom of the bags, but that is normal. Works for me.

I missed the free shipping sale from Mice Direct, who never bothered to answer my e-mail, either. I had also e-mailed Big Cheese for a whipping quote, but followed up with a phone call today and ended up ordering. I'll report back! They have the exact same prices as Mice Direct's sale prices. .13 for pinks, .42 for adults. Florida pink prices vary from .25-.35, adults from .63-.75.

Mine are 40p each in the local shop, so I bulk buy from online companies for hatchling season. (packs of 100 at £25) For feeding just a couple of baby corns it migt not work out much cheaper when you add postage.
