Popsicle - amel stripe

I thought I'd put a live plant in Blaze's tank. I guess he likes it... He completely buried himself in it. I don't know how well this is going to work, because I'll eventually need to take him out for feeding.

So, maintenance wise, how much work to keep up with it and ensure it's not dying? I'm no gardener, lol.

Anyone else using live plants much? It seems like something cool to do and I definitely have an interest as it could provide some cool cover if you used a leafy type. Might have to head over to Lowe's or Home Depot and see if I can find something that would fit the bill for Leoric's viv as it's very flat right now compared to Cruellas.

It's a pothos plant and they are very hard to kill! I have them all around the house, so I just took a few cuttings off of one and stuck it in a glass of water and it grew roots. Then I put it in organic dirt - no chemicals or anything because I don't know what might be bad for my snake.

Blaze was completely buried in the dirt this morning and I had to get him out because I had pest control coming over. I didn't want to destroy my plant by digging him up, so I lured him out with a hot mouse. What a struggle we had!
