Do hets matter?

So I was thinking about getting another corn in the future. I want it as a pet, and I have no intention of breeding it. So my question is, do the hets matter? I don't know if they all present or not. I really like snow corns, but I don't know if the hets change the appearance. Anything helps. Thanks!
 
If you have no plans of breeding, heterozygous traits are unimportant. Most aren't something you can "see," though some (such as bloodred and caramel) can change the appearance somewhat.
 
Oh okay that makes sense. I was looking at snows and blizzards, and I really like the pink background. I wasn't sure if there were any hets I should avoid.
 
Yeah, most snows and all blizzards, from my experience.
 
Oh? What morphs remain pink? And do you know of one that has just a touch of yellow behind the eyes? I have seen it, but I have no idea what it was. Terrible with morphs :/
 
Some snows, such as bubblegums, corals, neons, etc are quite pink. Opals are another option. Most morphs gain some yellow along the neck.
 
Oh okay. Thank you! I'm glad I have so many knowledgable people to answer my newbie questions! Lol maybe one day I'll know a lot. I learn something new about corn snakes every day on here. It makes me love mine even more :)

Other pink snakes
Coral snows, hypo lavender, Peppermints, some amel's are pink too. Lots of pink ones out there. I'm waiting for greens to pop up lol!
