I knew Panzer would be trouble, once I realized how much of a climber he was..good news is he was found in a roller blade in the closet. (Other than my tanks, those are the only things in the room, so I had a feeling before I checked).
However, what gets me is he escaped from a "secured" zilla tank. It had the lid locks on and everything. I've looked around the lid, and can't see a single hole he could escape from.
Lesson learned. Although I wanted to wait till he got bigger to change tanks, I moved him to a 20 gallon zoo med, which I fully trust. Although their price and size was perfect for yearlings, I won't buy the Zilla starter kits again...I just don't trust their lids even with those lock clips.
