Split belly checkers

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could help explain (and show) the split belly checkers attribute. What gene is responsible for this? In what morphs can it be expressed? I have a ghost that appears to have this (sorry, no pic, my camera's on the fritz). Is it possible that this is the case with her? Thanking all in advance for your assistance. :)

My red factor, who I suspect has the split because she is het diffused, though I won't be able to prove that out for awhile :)
