Right??? He and Kathy live here in Phoenix and he holds seminars at the Repticons. I was supposed to work the last two shows with them, helping them sell and helping with the kids and photos of them holding snakes and other critters, but I had knee surgery and wasn't going to be able to hold out that long. I really hope I am up for it this time, at the very least I will be at the show for moral support and to do whatever I can for them! They are truly wonderful people.

Sounds brilliant ,what an experience 
!! I was in my local pet shop yesterday just having a wander and asked if they had any small pinkies in ! The guy brought back 3 pinkies each being a different size yet marked pinkies!!!! He explained the larger of the three was between pinkie and fuzzy (hardly any hair) This is what we fed Theo before regurge!!!!! I'm so angry with myself for not realising that it was too bloody big for him I'm sure of it .Seeing the range of size between the three of them there is a big difference but obviously not so much so when not lined up with other pinkies!!! I'm just about 100 percent sure this was the problem funny how people say snakes are easy if you know how lol!!! After all the extensive research I have looked through I got it so wrong ,the guilt is brutal poor wee guy!!! Anyway purchased 25 tiny pinkies and I may be guilty of not moving up size quick enough but I will not feed too big ever again!!!! Still puzzles me that I can't see bulge though after pinky yet bigger pinkie regurged!!! It's a mystery

Yeah, sometimes they just pack the mice in without weighing them to save time and money. I have to feed my babies tonight so I put 5 pinkies in the container to thaw, and as I go to each viv I can tell by their size which pinky would be best for them. There is no correct science in picking mice unless you have a lot of time and can separate by weight. This is where the "eyeballing" the size comes in handy. I have babies from 10g to 25g so I pick out the smallest for the smallest... you get the idea!

Sure thing! Because we only dealing with one pinky at a time I didn't realise,I do now!! Pinky head has stayed down so far so good we will be on to 2nd pinky head on Fri ,I'm desperate to weigh him but leaving him well alone ! I think he looks bigger visually but won't be happy till I get him on scales x still no sign of shedding!!!We have got 1/4 of cold side covered in moss but nothing happening !! Come on Theo x could a regurge delay a shed? Kim x
