Progression thread: Tango the Cayenne Fire

Fatty McFatterson is a whole 24g now and roughly 18 inches long. At this rate I'm wondering if I should just wait til he's on hoppers to switch to Reptilinks. I'll probably be feeding double 3g links by the time they get around to filling my order.

Tango is just prettier and prettier each time you you post!

Cleo weighs 25g and is roughly 18 inches. She's not so sure that Tango is "Fatty McFatterson", lol. My girl is a little sensitive about the "F" (fat) word, btw. :uhoh:
 
Lol I had called him that the other day when he was holding in a massive poo and his tail made him look a bit like those sad overweight snakes you sometimes see in facebook groups. Also he seems to have gained 3g in two feedings...I'm a bit surprised, since the pinks he's getting right now are so tiny.

Yeah, the old massive poo trick, lol. Amazing the size of the load they can carry.

It is so sad to see those overweight snakes on Facebook and/or Craigslist. Breaks my heart.

3 grams is impressive. It is interesting how they gain or not sometimes relative to prey size. WTG, Tango!!!!!! :dancer:
 
Image dump time! I got a new camera for Christmas so we took some early test shots of Tango. We'll fiddle with the settings and figure it out better eventually, but for now these came out kinda okay. The lighting in our room is pretty piss poor. Unfortunately Imgur auto-resize kind of poops on the quality a bit, too.

The quality is a little shot because they're all jpgs with some automatic correction applied. I've been keeping the RAWs as well, just too lazy to mess with post-processing right now. There is a cornsnakes.com group. There are a lot of corn snake groups on Facebook. Just search and they will start popping up.
 
Little noodle-butt is up to 40g. More and more I catch him snoozing in more exposed places. He's started peeking out at me when he sees movement sometimes as well.

Tango ate his first fuzzy last night! It took him a bit longer than usual, but it looked like the perfect size for his weight. He's also going into shed, so I'm looking forward to seeing if he'll be even more red.

That picture is too cute! I can't get over how gorgeous he is.

I'm sorry the links aren't working out as planned, but he obviously likes that fuzzy.
