Blizzard or Snow corn??

"Serpent Science"
Hey everyone, I need your help with determining the morph of this snake. She was sold to me as a blizzard in a pet store, but I'm not so sure. Blizzard or corn snake, what do you think? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

She looks like a snow to me.
Blizzards are nearly patternless.
Snow is anery and amel.
Blizzard is charcoal and hypo.
Snows are common in pet shops but Blizzards are rare.

Pretty baby btw :)

Blizzard is actually charcoal and amel.
charcoal and hypo I believe are called phantom.

Blizzards can have a pattern, I have a blizzard with a similar amount of pattern. It's hard to tell, but it very well could be a blizzard as they claimed.

There can be a fair amount of variation to be sure, but that sure looks just like the snow I have. My blizzard is way PINKER.

Whoopsie! My bad! Yes Blizzard is charcoal and amel. :) Thanx Flagg!

I'm going to go with Flagg and say it could very well be a blizzard.
I saw two nearly identical to that this afternoon and I've been led to believe that Blizzard corns don't have the yellow neck colouring that most snows have (correct me if I'm wrong), because of the charcoal influence? I know we can't see the neck in those pics but it does look blizzard to me.

I disagree, I think it is a snow. The pattern is quite visible. Snows are quite common in Israel. Blizzards simply do not exist... and this looks like a snow. A beautiful snow mind you, but a snow.

I don't know if it really matters though, it's a sweet little snake and that's all that matters :)

Yup, you are wrong. :D

Both snows and blizzards can get the yellow as they age. Just like anerys and charcoals can both get it. Way, way long ago the first charcoals/blizzards produced tended to not have the yellow... because of traits from those specific snake's parentage. BUT now, many generations later, things have mixed up so that the generalization you made no longer holds true.

PLUS, baby snakes don't usually show the yellowing anyway, it is something that usually comes with age, the yellow takes a while to develop.

Hi wax, thanks for letting me know my info was outdated! It's probably because I haven't seen very many Charcoals and Blizzards this side of the pond, but the ones I have seen didn't seem to have the yellowing on the neck and they were yearlings and adults. But I have seen Blizzards with more patterning than what used to be considered the norm. I suppose this is due to all the mixing as well.

Thanks again and best wishes,

Looks like a snow to me also. But perhaps at this point you won't be able to tell for sure until she matures a bit more.
