It's Jager time!
I collected another female Corn Island boa on Thursday. Shes absolutley amazing... I love her already, and to keep in with the pretentious French theme her name shall be J'adore.

Crap pictures, I literally spent 60 seconds photographing her before leaving her to settle in.

She's my favorite that you have posted! Stunning! I really like that last shot - the one of the underside of her jaw! Its so... clean - and it looks like she has two blue scales there!

Thanks for the comments Deb and Tom :)

I can't wait to see her in lightphase, she has more flecks of pink and orange on her than Clementine. And yes she has a couple of blue scales :)

She has arrived! She's beautful, Elle. Congrats!

(Too bad those photos are so crappy... ;) )

Well no I wish she just arrived... I had to sit on a train for 3 hours to get her LOL

I always love it when your crap pictures are better than most of our "expert" pictures :p

She's beautiful Elle, how big is she?

Yeah she looks a lot smaller.
But knowing your snakes and their mahoosive growing abilities she'll catch up very soon.

Ack no I'm in no rush to have her huge anytime soon. She was born on the 23rd of May 07, as was the other female and shes not that much bigger. The male was from a different litter and seems to be growing much faster than the females from the other litter.

(Make note to self: "Keep PJ away from Corn Isle Boas"). I don't know Elle, I may just have to do some serious research on these little guys. The coloration and contrast is amazing in these guys and the eye is just plain phenomenal. Maybe this might be something that will be added to the Boa room. Great Boa Elle. Just out of curiosity, do you have a 1.2 trio or a 2.1 trio? The latter might be the best grouping if you plan on breeding them. That damn eye!......PJ?....we gettin' Corn Isle's............
Jay

Her eyes are radically different to the other two. We now have 1.2, but I want another male.... Heck I want another 10 of these LOL.

Yet another fantastic addition to your amazing collection - one more for me to drool over every time you take pics.
Loverly new gal there Elle and looking forward to the next photo shoot!

Jeeze Elle, SHES BEAUTIFUL!!!
shes LOVELY and has gorgeous little eyes! :D

Heh, I think someone should ship me over a little baby when they grow up and breed, yes? LOLOL

She looks great though, congrats! :]

Absolutely stunning snake, i'd kill for an argentine ):
You do know that Elle's Boas are Corn Isle's don't you? Corn Isle Boas are dwarf Boas. I hope you are not confusing these with Argies as Argies are definitely not a dwarf Boa. We have a Argentine girl and she could max out at around 10' - 11' and have quite the girth to them. If you were just stating that you like Boas and you want one, then an Argie is a beautiful specimen to own.

:) Yes, just merely stating that i'm beginning to have a horrible addiction for them - and I want an argentine. Of course, a corn isle boa is a beautiful snake - im set on for an argentine. (; possibly, a hogg.
