Grizzley Man is the bear movie. I liked that too. I think in both cases, many people would say they deserved what they got. I see them as two sort of innocent people, naive in terms of nature. Good people at heart that hurt their families/friends by doing what they wanted. It's their lives, though.
I think even without the one small mistake, he was a goner.
When the book was written, and there was the article in Outside- I'm sure everyone remembers the end of the story from that, or at least that he died. I would think most who see the film are familiar with the circumstances. It's nice that his family cooperated so much.
