Today I visited the shop I got Kanga from and there was a california king snake which I just fell in love with.

It was black and white and the marking were amazing.

I didnt buy it, but my defo thinking of getting myself one at some point.

and here is starts........ by the time Im 80 I'll have a house full of snakes and will be know by local children as 'the crazy snake lady'. lol

Yep, they definately are an addiction!!!

I had Tiaga for about 2 years before I found this sight. Since I joined here I've added 3 more to my collection. The last was just over a year ago and I'm getting the itch to add another 1 or 2. Just need to figure out housing arrangements and whether or not my BF would be willing to build a rack for me..lol

they are beautiful snakes, just make sure when handling the cali king he's not close to your corn because they will go after the corn. my friend had this happen. her kids were both sitting on the couch with each snake and before they knew what happened the cali king reached out and bit the corn. no damage was done, but it was a very frightening experience for all of them!

It's definitely this site!! Bad, bad, bad I had Keiran for over 5 years before I added another snake to my collection... now, I'm up to six and I believe I'm on waiting lists for four or five this summer.... so far... only one more male though... rest must be females.... well maybe one more male... if I can find a really dark Charcoal

I wouldn't specifically blame this particular forum...they're all to blame, hehe...

But really, snakes are just such amazing creatures...and outstanding animals to keep. So dang easy. Even my big burm!

I never want a dog...too much work. =D

Nope, as I said I was happy with just Kieran for five years then I come on here for a short period of time and I end up with Gailleann & Daire... then I go away and come back and since coming back, I've added Gunn, Michael and a little Pewter and put myself on three waiting lists for stuff... so far...

When I'm here snake population rises, when I'm not here, nothing gets added. Definitely here
