Happy with this new hobby
I am aware that corn snakes are addicting, but I was caught by surprise to realize I'm addicted to this website, spending all my "work" hours checking it out, and if I'm in the middle of a good conversation, logging back in once at home.
So, in an average, how many hours per day do you spend here?

I easily spend 8 hours/day reading threads and checking for follow ups....:punch:
 
When I'm not busy at work I come on here or on other forums that are of interest to me - to be fair this is my favorite with the best people, best conversations, etc.

Was on here most the day today :D but tomorrow could be different - depends on free time
 
I probably read this forum 1-2 hours a day but I mostly lurk with some random replies to posts thrown in.
 
I think this forum is what makes Cornsnakes so addicting.. seeing everyone's pippies, fabulous morphs, all the beautiful snakes for sale..
I remember we had one member who said she'd been satisfied with her one Corn Snake for some 3 or 4 years (?) until she stumbled upon this site and then suddenly needed to get more.
Just some food for thought (note: I've already contemplated this)! :bird:
 
I mentioned in another thread that this place should be called CrackSnakes . com. It's so hard for me to tear myself away from here. I started out with one snake in April and now my third will be arriving next week. You people are just trouble, I tell ya!!!

Anyone here up for a 12-step program?
 
Oh man, I totally understand! When I'm busy with classes and finals, I don't log on maybe even once a week. And during that time, I feel satiated with my snakes and books. But as soon that ends, I'm on here looking at all those beautiful snakes....man I can't wait to get another!!! ;-)
 
Ps- in defense of my addiction, I had Kiowa for a full yeah before I got Wook and Kitty, well he just fell into my lap. But by the time I get a new snake a the reptile show in Sactown, it will have been almost a year since I got Kitty. See, that's self control...I'm pretty sure anyway... =P
 
I spend way too much time on here too. In my defense though I am trying to learn as much as possible before I get my first corn.
