Bite Club: You'll Never Guess!!

Nanci

Alien Lover
Miss Cherry bit me tonight! I guess she didn't like being number 12 of 15 to get fed and got a little impatient when I went to get her out! It's scary the damage a 550 gram cornsnake can do. Don't worry, I am treating it with Flying Fish Riesling.

LOL, I am treating myself as well not that i got bit or anything. Jaxson tagged me once, but no blood. She is a beauty by the way!!

Whoa, Nanci! I'm so glad you have the training you needed to take care of that bite! :poke:

Wow.... 550 grams??? And that's it? I'm sure she didn't really want to hurt momma... LOL.

I have a few snakes that I get out before I ever touch mice; the Florida Kings and Noah the rosy BOA!!!!!!! but I've never had a corn go for me before...I mean in a feeding response.

Wow Nanci. Close one. You think sutures will be enough? Or will that hideous disfigurement require skin graphs? :grin01:
Jay

Ive been treating a bite I got too. I got it from Tiaga about 2 years ago, It takes awhile to get these things to heal..

Sometimes they *never* heal. :)
This is some funny stuff.
My snakes do some crazy stuff when they smell mice thawing.
(Like they're not going to get fed, come on.)

When I thaw out my mice, my corn just freaks out in her feeding container, and she'll go into the super impatiant mode.

Aww, poor Cher bear, she's so confused! I'm sure she is terribly embarassed about the whole thing, and will now hide in shame for the next couple of days at least.
