My Herp Room

Looks great, Robbie!! What do you have in that tank with the cage topper? I keep noticing those at the store...

where did you get all that beautiful driftwood i need some for my 29 gallon tank i have my corn snake in

Never mind a room heater works where can I get one...cheap

Big Lots. I got mine for $20!

Would you like to borrow my [future] herp room. It's completely empty except for a treadmill and couple of dvd racks.

For hatchling season? Yes please!!!

Great herp room, Robbie, Very neat, very tailored. Although I do see a little room for more..... :D

Shhh!! I'm trying to convince myself I don't have any more room, so I can save it for hatchling space! (Although I do know for a fact that I can fit at least 2 more racks in here...)

It looks great Robbie, Congrats!

Thanks, Carol!

A big, mean female corn. And contrary to popular belief, she does use it! Especially during feeding time. I'll have to snag a picture next time when she's eating a moose like a GTP.

I got it from a guy that had gotten out of beardie breeding. I have some extra floating around. Not sure how much shipping would be, though.

how heavy would you say the drift wood is and what size box would i need

They're not really heavy, they're just big and awkward. I'm expecting a rather large mouse shipment, so if you like, I could use the box from that and send you some. PM me your zip code and I'll see if I can get a shipping quote.

Robbie, that looks great.. can you swing up to MN and give me a hand with mine?
It needs an overhauling.
Wow.. you can make a new reality TV show for animal planet.. over hauling herp rooms.

I am SO envious! Now that is one heck of a snake room! Can't wait till the day when I have a room JUST FOR SNAKES! (and other reptiles).
Thanks for sharing them with us!

That is a really awesome looking room ya got there! :0) I might convert from tanks to racks when I get to FL..but I dunno yet :0)

Robbie have you had physics? Do you know the three states of matter?

Snake cages are a gas. They expand to assume the shape and volume of their container.

.

I would love to see pics of that! I keep seeing those things at the petstores and I think they would look really cool but wasn't sure if it's good for colubrids... Do you have any issue with humidity using those things?

It's Florida. If I had humidity issues, I'd be in trouble. LOL.
Although I do give her a good mist when she's in blue to ensure proper shedding.
