Poofy-Headed Snake-Addict
(its worked out)
I think I may have to get rid of Kaden, my 08 hypo boa. My mom hates it, and after my dad found out that it bit me, he wants me to get rid of it. I explained to them that its just a baby and will mellow out with time (I hope) but they just dont want a biter in the house. The biggest thing for my mom is that she has a daycare, and a biting snake is just trouble waiting to happen, even if his head IS only an inch long... despite the fact that I never take him anywhere near the kids for just that reason. I only get him out in my room. My dad barely tolerates my "babies" as it is, even without the biting thing.
I guess I can understand that, and he DOES occasionally freak me out, but I love the little bugger. He's gorgeous and half the time is a total sweetheart.. and then he makes up for it by being the crabbiest, jumpiest little biter on the planet.
I really think I'll have to get rid of him, but I cant just give him back to the breeder, and I dont know what else to do with him. I'd give him to Eddie or Robbie if I could. Someone I know has experience with boas.
