A Walk in the Park...

Hi,

Those two views you have posted are absolutely fantastic? If you live close to that then i am SO jealous, if there any chance you could email me the top one of those two pictures in their original format to use as my desktop?

Where are those pictures taken?

These pictures are from right outside of town. Perhaps a 10-20 minute drive from my front door. That is the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Inyo County, California. The large, prominent peak to the right(north) is Mt. Tom.

I won't send you a full size file. No offense, but this is something I intend to take very seriously as a "side business". I will send you a mid-size copy with my name on it, if you'd like, for use as a desktop image, but I don't really want to take a chance on it being printed and/or used elsewhere. I've had issues with that sort of thing in the past...

But if you want a mid-size format for your desktop, I will be happy to send you one, or you can use the one I've posted here...

Jynx-
Yea...you asked about my camera. It's an Olympus E-520. I absolutely LOVE the thing...

Nice shots again Chris! Glad to see you've joined the DSLR group. It's a whole new ball game switching from 35mm to Digital ain't it?

Oh YEA! I never imagined I would be able to shoot B&W and color at the same time. I never imagined being able to shoot different ISO's on consecutive shots. In-camera color filters for intensity, auto exposure bracketing, and I'm REALLY digging the size difference in lenses.

I'm pretty stoked I made the investment. I've wanted to leap for a long time now...

Hi,

Sure no problem, a slightly larger file than that would be good because the posted picture ends up slightly pixalated on my screen, i completely understand your concerns and assure you i would not do something like that but i understand you dont want to take the chance.

Stunning photos though!
