Thanks you guys! When I built Fort Tort, I think I put up a different thread daily. So there is something like Fort Tort Day One, Day Two...like that. When I built Terra Pen, I did it all in one thread.

I have been looking at those cages, what size did you get?

I got the 4x2. What are you thinking of putting in it? It's horribly hard to get a nice temp range for a uro. The quality is excellent. Customer service is excellent. I wish it had two places for bulbs, though. The baskig bulb shines straight down and doesn't spread out and heat the rest of the viv at all...

Still working on the temps. The 75 watt bulb got to 137 today, so I put in the 50, and so far it will only go to 112-114. I wonder what two 50's would do. I wonder what would happen if I put the 75 in an 8" dome...

wow nanci I just took a look at fort tort ... amazing!!! I want to do a "pond" for Sal this summer .... get him outside a bit (red eared slider)

So today the uro viv is sitting at 119.4 at the basking spot, 88F at the cool end, and 80 at the farthest possible from all heat spot. I think that is perfect.
