I'm looking at Bean Farm and compiling a list of what I'll need for my cage.
I've also been reading the FAQs and searching the forums, but I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, so I thought I'd ask.
I'm looking at using an UTH. I'm thinking of going with Flexwatt and getting the dimmer that is recommended for it.
If I'm using the dimmer, a digital thermometer with probe and a thermometer in the cage, is a thermostat necessary?
I see that Bean Farm has UTH called Ultratherm. It says these are self regulated and do not require a thermostat or a dimmer/rheostat. Are these good and is the claim true?
I've kept snakes in the past, about 10 years ago, and never used any of this stuff, just a light on top.:duck: I didn't have any problems, but I know more now and want to do it right and what's best for the snakes. I also want to budget conscious.
Thanks for your help!
