Bring it on.
Some of you may remember a while back when I "remodeled" (aka moved a bunch of crap around) my herp room. Well, I did it again. This time to fit another shelving unit in there. Just so you know, this is what you can do with a 10x11 bedroom (if you have the patience... LOL). On a side note, I think it's starting to get a bit cramped in here! Time for a new house!!!
When you first walk in the door, you're greeted by this:
Off to your left will be this lovely shelf. Occupants include BRenda the Bloodred, Marquis the Dumerils Boa, Ted the African House Snake, Craig the Beardie, and 2 incubators. One incubator is for corn eggs, and the other is for BP's (IF my girl ever drops!).
Further down the line are these 2 racks from Reptile Basics. The cooler is my current feeding day thaw chamber. The locking tub contains extra aspen. Rack occupants include (top to bottom, left to right) Luci the snow corn, Nemesis the motley snow corn, Vicky ball python, Lizzie the snopal corn, Josef the amel corn, Alex the ball python, Adolf the charcoal corn and Joseph the hypo snow corn.
From those racks, we turn right to see this rack. Occupants include (bottom to top) Archangel the ghost corn, Kiyoshi the Japanese rat snake, Napoleon the sunglow boa, Tumbleweed the Trans Pecos rat snake, Lucy the ghost motley stripe corn, Aphrodite the ghost corn, and Maxwell the anery motley corn. The plastic bags attached to the rack are for poo cleaning.
Continuing further down the aisle, you'll notice the end of the line in this section of the snake room. Occupants are Josie the BCI and Dusty the Trans Pecos rat snake.
If you'd been completely ignoring the right side of your body as you were traveling through the room, you would have missed this "rack". Occupants are Shesmu the burmese python (on top) and Mary Shelley the boa.
Now we're in that space created by the shelves. If you look at that last picture, you see where the purple vacuum cleaner handle is? That's where we're at now. Occupants of this section include Marquesa the Dumerils boa and Penny the anery motley corn.
To your right from the last picture is this shelving unit/rack. Going top to bottom left to right, occupants include Andy the Okeetee corn, Hera the Ruby Eyed Lavender Albino California Kingsnake, Benito and Mao the creamsicle corns, Mary and Vash the bloodred corns, Ed the yellow rat snake, Bucky the funky anery corn, Daemon the Leucistic Texas rat snake, Blayne the Lavender zig-zag corn, Serlena the ball python, Cruella DeVille the classic corn snake and Mark the ball python.
If you were just walking in the door, this would be off to your immediate right. All 14 tubs house corns belonging to Torsten (1 normal, 8 hypos, 2 phantoms, and 2 sunkissed silver queen ghosts). The tank next to the tubs houses Jiang the anery corn.
Thanks for looking!
