You named your pup Odin? I though you were getting a lass for some reason. Believe me when I say I didn't know you had named your pup when I made that post. I used "Odin" as a reference to the Father of the Gods only. I was talking about a guy I used to issue tags to (his name was derived from Woden/Odin), and it just was still fresh in my mind when I made that post.

Wow. I just sat here and went through all of that. Why Im not really sure but I did and first I have to say KJ I love you! You jump the gun a bit but hey everyone does but at least you knew what you were talking about rather then spitting out useless information that proves that our youth are failing us.

To back up a bit since this thread is growing like crazy and I can't keep up. Hitler was an amazing speaker. He had great plans and knew how to go about doing them so that the people would follow him. He was able to put millions of people into camps and kill millions more. He was loved by all and could do no wrong oh and guess what... he is my sister's hero. Yep. Oh and guess what is even better, she is an Obama lover. Its sick really. Almost shot her in the hand with my shotgun when she tried slapping a "hope for change" sticker on my car.

Anyways back to Hitler, he was able to grab the youth and hold them. They were is core, he used them. Anyone else notice this happening? I do! Against McCain he was the youthful and a great speaker. My grandfather used to tell me that the young dont listen they feel. That is what is happening. The youth of this nation are feeling not thinking or listening. Obama uses words that cause people to feel, not always a bad thing if people are also listening which is not happening. Yes I know Im only 20. I guess somehow I missed that. I guess being outside rather then in front of a tv playing games saved me. Or maybe its my love and respect for firearms that are leading me down the right path, either way I like my road. Trust that I am not a far right person, there are issues Im left on and things that I dont know enough about to say anything or make up my mind about and I'll tell you. But really I have the balls to tell you if your right and Im wrong or if I don't know. I'll also tell you if you are wrong. (I know I have been gone for awhile but Im sure the older members remember me sticking my nose in.)

Now as far as our lovely little money pit we call a "war." Anyone remember WWI? What happened after? Anyone remember WWII? What happened during? Progess is made in war time not peace time. We have not seen much of it but like everything our government is going to have its ups and downs. This is not the first time we have taken a slip, granted we did not have Obama sticking his "change" into the mix. Heck as far as I know its still not a "war" its a "conflict." (Let me know if the stauts of it has changed.)

Anywho, bed calls though somehow I think I'll be up to check this in a few hours. Damn you all. lol. KJ more power to you and I wish I could rep you but the damn thing wont let me. Guess you have had to much love!

Thank you, but I will admit that I got carried away. Most of what got me so riled up was stuff that was happening (or happened) in other threads, and the frustration just carried over into this one. I can't say that I disagree with anything I said in anger now that I've cooled off, but some of it shouldn't have been posted here. Reactions aren't always the best behavior, and I was guilty of reacting with my gut response. This is why I shouldn't ever hit "post" when still angry.....lol.

Ditto for me. Pick the ideas that increase PERSONAL freedom from each party, and that is what I support. (I'm libertarian, remember?) Without that being viable, I go with whoever supports the 2A the most because THAT is the only one that protects the other 9.

I know that FDR's tax-and-spend could NOT bring us out of a recession. Obama's plan won't work any better than his did. The WAR is what pulled us out - not Democrat policies on taking from the haves to give to the have-nots. I take that back. CCC - FDR gave them jobs. There is a difference. Why have we, as a country, started giving money out and then paying others to do governmental jobs? Why don't we follow the idea of CCC and make people type, landscape, vacuum - SOMETHING - for a check? What is SO WRONG with that idea? Need unemployment? Great - glad to help. While you are getting the check, pick up litter on 10 miles of roadways per day!

Why is that such a horrible idea to so many people? I really don't understand the problems with that idea.

He's actually altered his thinking a little since the last time he spoke to me on this particular subject (and you think women are prone to changing their minds...oy vey!). He now thinks that if it splits, there will be several new countries made up of multiple states...and it will be more geographic in nature. The Southeast will be one, the Northeast or New England another, Texas will be by itself, etc. I don't think it will be all that, just a few areas that are so predominantly socialist that they simply cannot be a part of the "new" United States, but the majority will remain whole. And yes, the group with the guns has a major advantage. Question will be, which side will the military take. I'm saying they will side with the civilian revolutionists against the President. That has already happened on a small scale, but will probably grow. The birth certificate thing simply won't die!
