I Have Cancer.... It sucks, I will be having surgery to get it fixed. I will survive. Although the doctors say that there is a 5% chance I won't survive.

5% Isn't much, But if it hits, I just wanted to say that I am happy to be a part of the Corn Snakes Community...
Yes, I did talk to all my friends before came to talk to the internet.

The kind of cancer I have isn't called yet. We are waiting on the name and my surgery date.

Regards
Brandon

Maybe I'm the biggest jerk in the world for even suggesting it, but if you're messing with people here, I will personally see to it that you are banned forever. Who knows? Maybe I'll take it further. Should I email your Mom? If this is a joke, it's in the POOREST taste. Maybe you should PM me for clarification. Zeus help you if you're playing around.

I am not playing with this.
I am serious.

I have skin cancer, seriously. I plan on getting surgery too. When I have money.
Let us know what you have when you get the call.

Well that is sad. If you ever get a name of your cancer, let me know. I have been through cancer myself, three times!

#1 Breast...removed tumor, treated and surviving!
#2 Utarian...removed uterus, treated, and surviving!
#3 Stage 1 Ovarian...treated, still hanging in there!

My stepdaughter has had Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a cancer of the white blood cells, the cells in the body that normally fight infections. She has this twice in her life time, first at age 4 and again at again 8 followed by a bone marrow transplant. She is now almost 18 yrs old and going great!

If you need someone to talk to, please feel free to PM me and I will give you my numbers. Hang in there and be strong! Keep your faith Brandon!

Best Wishes,
PJ

My sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She just finished all of her radiation treatments and hopefully, she is in full remission.

Not to mention, "What Deano Said!"

If it is true, I am so sorry for that. Take care of yourself. My family and I will keep you in our thoughts!

my best buddy at 21 had testicular cancer and had the one removed. i wish you the best. keep on keepin on. and come back to talk snakes. and show us pictures of the w/c ones you keep getting down the road. just remember to release them and you'll be good in my books.

Wow... Cancer is certainly no game and for those of you that have it or are going through it, my thoughts are with you and I'm hoping for a full and complete recovery.

PJ - I've talked to you on the phone and I've made purchases of some lovely snakes from you. While that doesn't necessarily make us "friends", I certainly do think of you as one. I am thankful that you and your daughter are doing well.

Brandon - I'm hoping for the best for you too. This is one of those things that I'll never understand...

I'm a jerk, but I do not even come close to buying your story. Doctors do things called biopsies to see what kind of tumors/growths they are looking at BEFORE removing them. If I am wrong I appologize ahead of time, but I have lost too many family members to have some kid make a mockery of a serious and potentilly deadly condition that have taken the most important members of my family away:(

Brandon, I haven't even read the follow up comments to this post because I don't want to even know what anyone else is thinking. However...what I do know as an oncology nurse is this...no patient EVER is sent out of the office hearing "you have cancer...you have a 5% chance of dying" without knowing the very basics, such as blood tests, MRI results, etc etc, ETFREAKIN'CETERA. It doesn't happen, my young acquaintance. You're dealing with a forum of extremely intelligent individuals. If you do have cancer, we'll now expect hard data results before we buy your story. If you prove us wrong and you really do have cancer but have an absolute idiot for a physician that let you walk out with nothing more than a pat on the back and a ridiculous prognosis, then you will not find a more hard core, compassionate bunch of people. Scorn us, use our compassion against us.....you'll never hear the end of it.

Ok, I hope I don't get banned when I say this. What the Hell dude!!!!! Ok, my mother is in the medical field and knows about this stuff! If you have a 5% chance of death it must be some kind of skin cancer. Brandon, I am seriously doubting you have cancer. I don't know why you would joke about this but I think that you are doing it for attention. This is so low. If you actually do have a rare, unnamed, non-life threatening cancer then I guess I am a huge jerk but if this is a phony I am so dissapointed and I think Rich Z needs to break out the dreaded "Admin stick"!

Wow man! I could forgive myself for buying into a lie, but I'd never forgive myself for being wrong about thinking you were lying. I hope the absolute best for you, and I seriously hope that you come out of the other side alright. You're young and resilient, and I would think that everything should go just fine. I hear the word "cancer" and want to break down with my truest wishes that you will come out alright, and I really do hope the absolute best for you.

You have a kind heart, Mike. But everyone who gets in a car everyday probably has the same chance of dying. Good luck to all of us who have s 95% chance of making it everyday!!

Okay everyone. It's called.
I have a cancer on the gland of my left arm, they said it can spread quickly to other parts of my body. So I'm going for surgery tomorrow.

At 635 you don't know what it's called or when surgery is and less than three hours later, you find out surgery is tomorrow.....riiiiiiiiight!

What Danny...your doctors don't call you from home just before bed? Geez, you must have an HMO or something. ;)

In what "gland" in your arm. Two words for you my wolf crying boy- anatomy and physiology. You have lymph nodes under your armpits but lymphatic cancers like hodgekins are severe- nice try though. Redeem yourself fast and tell the truth- its kinda like pulling a band-aid off- theres much less painful if you just do it...now!!!
