Hey guys! It's been a couple of months since I picked up this girl from PJC reptiles, and she has been a great snake. PJ is the nicest person to speak to, and really made this a great process for me, as this was my 1st and only online snake purchase. If anyone wants to buy a snake, and wants a great breeder to buy from, then just talk to PJC... They are highly knowledgeable, and are very nice people to deal with.

I got this girl in the hopes of breeding her with my male Ghost (or gorgeous Anery?) this year, but she wasn't having it. I'll just keep feeding her and bulking her up, and maybe next year she'll be more receptive. Either way she is a gorgeous snake, and wonderful pet (unless she's hungry :)).

Without further delay, here's Sophie (the name she came with), the beautiful Anery A het Hypo female!

I don't really like photos with hands and arms in the shot, but she was a little unruly, and it was the only way to get a still photo.

I really love her silver eyes!

She's a beauty!!

Without knowing it, you have nearly reproduced photos of your snake in the old Roy Munson "hand with gray wall" classic style. Brings back memories...

Thanks Nanci! I usually try to refrain from photos where I'm holding a snake, but it became too difficult to keep her still long enough to get a good photo. I at least like the clarity of the photo, and it provides good reference of her.

Thanks for the update Michael. You did a great job of capturing exactly what she looks like. Spot On! She has always been a great snake. The two things I always liked about her most is the fact that she has minimal yellow and that her saddles are pretty much borderless. Her saddles are almost solid. She is one that I wouldn't have minded keeping. Again, thanks for the update and keep them coming.

Gorgeous snake and great pics Michael! :)

Thanks Jay! She definitely looks incredible, and I am glad to have gotten her. I can't wait to see what her offspring look like too. Anery's seem so variable, so when I saw the picture in your for sale ad, I knew she was the perfect mate for my male. I love her minimal yellow, and her borders are as nice as any Anery I've seen (in my opinion of course :)). She is also a voracious eater, so there is no issue with keeping her fed.

Thanks again Jay, I will definitely be looking for you guys at the New England expo if you're there!

Stunning!!! I can't get over those blacks... I don't think I've ever seen such a nicely contrasted anery. And that head and the little yellow she DOES have... Mmmm! Every single little bit of her is absolutely amazing! =)

Oh, and the photography is wonderful, too. ;)

Thanks so much Floof! I am conflicted with certain Anery's, but it didn't take much time to decide she was the exact Anery I was looking for. I too love her contrast, and she has that special look that I think will carry on to her offspring, especially if she successfully breeds to my male (who is equally gorgeous in my opinion :)).

I love the fact that she stayed so dark! I love the high-contrast anerys. Her head is unusual but very pretty. What a great pick-up! Can we see a pic of her future mate?

Thank you! And I will definitely post a picture of her future mate. I'll get them up in a little bit, and show him off. He was my 1st snake ever, so he is definitely special to me.
