Oh, one more thing...I didn't see where Dale said "all schoolteachers are union". I saw where he said "virtually all" which is entirely different. But...nothing new for you to skip over what people type, make up your own "facts" to support your claims, and than turn it into something different. You're actually getting pretty good at lying, decieving, and making things up...:nope:

He brought up this thread and comments in it in the other thread, up until that point, I had not addressed anything here, over there. Up until that point, every post in that thread was about the OP of that thread. I have remained very civil in this and that thread. I have attacked no one.

Then you missed the part where your question was answered, your claims were refuted, and your initial presumptive stance was shown to be....well, not terribly mature. I provided you with the logical construct that indicates Brent's expected ideological beliefs to be contrary to his professional situation, and provided you with a definition of irony.

Simply put, I refuted your claim. You putting your fingers in your ears and shouting "LA LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU" (and given the level of cognition I'm dealing with in this exchange, I am compelled to state that yes, I am speaking figuratively here, I don't believe that you're literally plugging your ears) doesn't invalidate that.

I believe the professionals refer to that as either "denial" or "willful ignorance". Which one would it be?

I have had it with the little personal pissing matches between members on this forum. I have chosen this thread as it is a prime example of this petty bickering and childish behavior, although that behavior is most certainly not limited to this thread, or even this type of thread, and is most definitely not something new around here. I know Dean is sick of dealing with this sort of thing (he seems to get involved before anyone else gets a chance, poor soul), but he's not alone in this thankless job.

The mod team has gone through alot of changes in thinking since accepting our positions, some on our own accord and some after conversing with Rich, but it seems that no matter how tough or how lax things are treated, no matter how many gray areas are expanded or shrunk, not everyone is going to happy with the outcomes. And the only consistency I personally see is that the mod team gets the shaft every time from someone.

Threads like this one are always going to be heated. It has been said innumerable times that if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. However, if you choose to stay, and you can't keep the debate civil and on topic, be prepared to get landed on...HARD! And fair warning...I'll land on ALL members that take part in the derailing.

In times like these, discussions about topics like this one are important, and both sides, whether opinion or "fact" (is ANYTHING honestly and truly a "fact", as "facts" have been shown to be something else time and time again), needs to be discussed. Too many people out there have absolutely no idea what is going on in their own country RIGHT NOW and that is something that we cannot let go unaddressed. Even if one person who just opens a thread like this by accident becomes aware of an issue that they didn't know about before, that makes everything worth while. But if threads like this lose the actual debate process, becoming nothing more than an internet free-for-all, you all end up sounding like nothing more than braying donkeys.

I'm done ranting now and moving on to sanke threads...hopefully they'll be about sankes...it is a corn snake site, isn't it?
