Mice Direct Shipment

OK this is my first delivery of any frozen rodent. Everything was nice & frozen when it got here. I ordered from Mice Direct, let me warn those of you that may never had when I opened box all three brown bags looked the same I figured out right away the mice were in the one in the center when I noticed the dry ice spilling out of one of the bags on the end. The mice are all clean in resealable bags the only complaint I have is my small pinkie mice there are a few with missing limbs & tails. Does this happen with most feeder companies? Well here are some photos of me opening the box.

I've head problems with broken limbs and heads from those companies that ship in just bags like that. They're always nice and whole when they've been vacuum-packed, though. My snakes don't seem to mind a missing limb or two, though! ;}

That is where I get my feeders from. Broken limbs and tails don't hurt anything. Especially considering how much cheaper they are over any other prices I have checked on.

the limbs break off easily when frozen, I wouldn't worry about it. I've noticed that hands and feet seem to go missing a lot.

Oddly...the packaging and bags and writing on the bags all look EXACTLY like the rodentpro order I just received.

I ordered Sunday 10/15 received Thurs. 10/19 from Mice Direct. Was going to order from Rodent pro but I saw on the checkout I wouldn't receive till after thanksgiving & knew my babies would be pretty hungry by then and the pinkies at the pet shop look more like fuzzies and cost 3x more then online even with shipping.

Broken limbs aren't that uncommon in pinkie mice. Some suppliers freeze pinkies using liquid nitrogen which makes them fairly brittle. Even when I freeze my own pinkies and bag them up, limbs or tails will sometimes break off. Glad you're happy with your shipment.

I am about to order from Mice Direct myself. I recieved a $100 from the raffle at the expo in Daytona. I don't have any extra money at the moment but luckily I can use it torwards the shipping as well.

I ordered from Rodent Pro the first time and now this last time from Mice direct because although Rodent Pro was cheaper last time right now Mice direct is. Two me if the shipping packaging wasn't different I would think they came from the same place just because of the way the individual mice bags are marked. I liked the shipment packaging with Mice direct. better. Everything came in a big cooler with a bag of dry ice tubes (like ice cubes but more elongated) Rodent Pro came with blocks of ice that came udone from their packaging and were moving around the box loosely. I ordered on a Sunday night, it shipped out Monday morning and I received it on Wednesday. I will defintely check out Mice Direct again next time

Just got my shipment in. Everything is in good condition. Came in a big cooler with dry ice in one paper bag and my order of rodents in the other. I hope to do business with them again, but I should be good for quite a while!

Hmm....

I havent used mice direct ever,my last two orders were from both the mouse factory and rodent pro.
I got my rodent pro order fast the next day before 10:00 am and they were all perfect.
The Mouse Factory also had the order there the next day and were as perfect as perfect can get.
I guess it depends on what you want to pay and what feeders you need most

I love MiceDirect because of their overall low prices, and they're relatively close to me, so shipping is rather cheap, too! I would definitely recommend them.

Wow! My RodentPro order was shipped on a Monday and got to me on a Friday! I was really worried about it because I couldn't be home to receive it, but everything was still frozen when I got home that day, so overall I was satisfied.

I compared when I ordered between Rodent Pro and Mice Direct and I found that the total for my order was cheaper through mice direct which is why I chose them above Rodent Pro. Next time I'll probably do the same. Guess it depends where you live on shipping.

HEH!

It makes me wonder if they are competing for my business,I do make quite large orders so maybe they both want my business.I did pay extra for overnight but not that bad to me.
