They are pretty cool :) Like having 6 month old puppies. Their affectionate and get into everything !!!! LOL
HOLY COW! I haven't seen you around in forever! Granted, I did take a mini-hiatus when work got hectic. Lol
    Good to see you back!
Snake bites are always fun. Lol. I got nipped by a little hatchling a couple times earlier today when I was cleaning her little tub. She was so feisty and so cute! She also accidentally bit herself once when her lower body touched her face. *roflmao* Crazy little boogers!
Hmm, I didn't realize that my 'About Me' still had that on it. I would LOVE to be a vet, especially working with reptiles, however life (and my lack of school motivation) has unfortunately got in the way of that. I still plan to finish my Biology degree, but I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with it. I work full time in my mother's office now (she's a judge), so I may run for her job when she retires or I may think of doing some sort of field research. I only have about 30 credit hours before I graduate, but with a baby and working full time, those few classes will probably take me 2 years to finish, unless I take a leave from work for a semester. :( Oh well, it will be worth it to finally have my degree...I've been working on it off and on for 9 years, it's about time I graduate! Robbie is such a good egg, do you know him in real life too? He's such a hoot!! I wish I could make it to Florida to visit him more often.
That would be cute! I already have a theme for my boa names...they all share names with Scrubs characters (in one way or another). Perhaps I could make an exception for an 'Evul' one such as that though. Haha! I love the old Christmas specials too. I bought them on DVD a few years ago and watch them over and over in December. Yep, I'm a little nerdy (just like that Robbie fellow down below me...teehee...love him!!).
Sorry I missed your message, for some reason it didn't notify me. I have some very, very tame green trees and I have some very nasty ones. I also have ones that won't bite, but are obviously very stressed from handling so I avoid holding them. Tempest, my sorong type is very tame. She's like having a red tailed boa or ball python. In contrast, Surprise will strike the glass, ball up, strike at everything in the world and just throw a fit. For tameness you generally are better off with a sorong type. all of mine have been dog tame
    Haha! I most certainly did! : )

I know Vinman used to breed them a while back. Other than that, I'm not sure of many people. But if you check with Vinny first, he should know someone.
She has the potential to get a little over 8 feet, but I very highly doubt she'll get that big. At four years old, she's got one more year of growing left. I really don't see her getting over 7-7.5.
Hahaha! I'm glad you got a giggle! We're coming up on the Coke Zero 400, so I'm sure there'll be plenty of stories coming soon. (We're RIGHT next to the Daytona Speedway)
It was totally lucky.... We were given a male hypo snow stripe as a rescue. Had him for a year and wanted to test breed one of our female(Takeout) for amel, anery, hypo ect... and boom.. we got him and one other with spots. The other doesn't have but a couple of spots. He is IT on our Iherp page :) . We will keep you up to date Hopefully he will be ready next season and will go back to his mom. Fingers crossed....
LOL. Then you definitely don't want her brother. When I bought her, the sales guy said that her brother was much "sweeter". I visited the store EVERY DAY for a week thinking about getting him. Every day, he would strike at me - hitting the glass - over and over.

On the other side, Kokoro has NEVER bitten me. She's made one rush as if to bite, but stopped short. I've also heard that there are some out there that are just as sweet as corns. If you look, you could certainly find a breeder that has the more "docile" VBB! :)
    Hi, Kate!
Kokoro is a Vietnamese Blue Beauty Snake (VBB for short). She's a pretty defensive snake, so you have to really be alert when dealing with her - or you might get a nasty bite.
As of now, she's about 6 feet long and eats medium to large rats.
Don't worry about asking! That's what we're all here for!
He is an Indigo! He's very gentle once he's out of his cage, but he's a terror when he's in feeding mode! I use a hook to take him out of his cage just so there are no mistakes. Once he's out he's quite nice.
You could fall in love with a peppermint stripe or a plasma stripe. They haven't been offered for sale yet, but I imagine the price would be somewhere in the $1000-$2000 range! Actually, Rich Hume did sell plasma stripes a couple years ago I think, but the supply is extremely limited! And there are only four peppermint stripes in the world so far.
