well in another thread, someone suggested that my "Anery A," Winifred, may, in fact, be a ghost. i didn't think our luck was anywhere near that good, as we had already lucked out by finding out our normal was het snow, and our anery A was het amel.
well, they may ALSO be het hypo!
here are the photos from the original thread showcasing the difference between these clutchmates, who i originally believed to both be "Anery A's," though wildly different:
This is Winifred
and this is KO
i now believe that Wini is in fact a hypo.
related: this weekend i went for a visit to my friends house, roughly 3 hours away. last year we sold her one of our hatchlings, a cute little snow!
yesterday was my first time seeing the snake, "Ichabod" in nearly 8 months, and HOLY SPINOLLI! what a little BEAUTY!
when i first saw him yesterday, i was ABSOLUTELY blown away by his magnificent pinks! he actually looks more of a "tangerine" color in real life. unfortunately i didn't have my DSLR with me, so these photos are from my point and shoot which doesn't give me too much control over lighting and exposure, but this was the best i could do.
i know most of them are overexposed. the last photo is actually almost spot-on to his "true colors" now is it just me, or does he look like a Coral Snow to anybody else?
he weighs about 50 grams now, and he hatched last April. he will definitely be involved in breeding trials ASAP!
