Well considering being a massive newbie at this, as evident in my other thread

Corn snake eggs starting pipping yesterday morning. I was away, sorting out my house for next university year, just my luck lol. But came back today, one baby has come out, and 2 others have pipped, the rest haven't done anything yet, hopefully they'll appear over the next couple of days. I am so happy!! really pleased with myself.

Anyone know what morph he is, I think he looks like an anery, but he might just be a dull looking normal, I don't know what normals look like when they hatch.

Geez, now I'm just really getting upset, cause I don't know what I am doing wrong with my eggs. How long did you incubate for,and at what temps? I am on day 63 snd nothing is happening, and my temps are 82-84.5 F. degrees.

Relax!!! The eggs don't follow a time table. Mine are on Day 70 at 78-82, how do you think I feel? :) Whatever you do, don't turn up the temp to try to hurry them up.

I'm trying, it's so hard not to worry. Last night I couldn't sleep for the longest time , and I was literally sick, nauses to my stomach for a long time, because of worrying something is going wrong with these eggs. I lost 2 clutches this year already and don't want anything to go wrong with these and just wondering why they are taking so long at the temps I have them at.

What are the parents? Do you have pictures of them?

It looks more like a Charcoal (Anery B) to me, but that could all change after it sheds! Definitely not a normal. ;)

if you can, take a picture of the eyes. if they are the same color as the babies ground color its a anery. if the whole eye looks black its a charcoal

Really, you think it may be a charcoal?

The parents are a normal and a snow, both with unknown heritage, so could have loads of hets, no idea really.

The 2 that had pipped have both left their eggs and are both normals. However 7 more eggs have pipped, and I can see an Amel!!! My female is also het for amel!! Got what also looks like a snow as well. I am so happy.

Have got some pics, but my dad has nicked the camera, will post them up when he's back.

It's eyes do look completely Black! That mean its a charcoal?

my dad was back quicker than I thought, so here are the pics:

2 normals that hatched, at least I think they're normals:

Gone a bit mad with pics, but I have just been taking photos of everything haha. My dad is also really enjoying this, so many times I've wondered upstairs and my doors open and he is just stood there watching them.

Now up to 5 hatchlings out and about, got 3 normals, an anery and a snow. 9 eggs have pipped and still waiting on four.

More pictures haha:

Wow that amel is bright! Make sure to get us some pictures when he's all the way out!

congratz on the snow!! They are just so cute :)

Thanks Tania!! Yeah s/he is stunning, another amel hatched out about an hour ago as well, but that first one is awesome, think I might keep him/her.

Oh how neat! I love the variety you can get in just one clutch! I know normals, amels anery and snow aren't really 'fancy' or rare morphs but that is still an awesome group of babies, Congrats!
