What a stunning gal, Carol. Once my Christmas shopping is over I'll have to roam your available page. =)

Out of brumation and ready to go! I'd be willing to trade for an adult Amel Stripe female.

She is gorgeous! I would love to get her for my 2 yr old male butter. Let me know if you come down on the price...

No reason for her to come down on the price of an ADULT PROVEN female! Her price is very reasonable. This butter girl would be mine, if I didn't already have 2 buttery girls.

I'm sure you can find hatchlings at a lower price.

How much would shipping be to 98052 from you?
I'm thinkin' about this gal.

And yes, the price is right for a proven breeder. :)

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but is she just a straight up butter? No hets or anything? Again forgive me if this is evident and I didn't catch it. =)

She's a straight up butter. :) I don't know of any hets, I know she is NOT het Hypo, Lavender, or Cinder. I don't think I've tested her for Motley though.

I just have a couple more questions: how old is she approximately? Where did you get her? How big of a clutch does she normally throw? Has she ever double clutched? Is she very handleable?

See I have only pet snakes right now but I've been dying to branch out and try a couple breedings. I have a local reptile shop that has given me the OK to bring in babies when I have them. I really would love some butter mots or stripes, and I feel like getting a proven breeder would be a very good first step even if I don't plan to breed this year. Also, I only live a couple hours away from the bay and would drive to pick her up. But I really need a handleable snake. I do outreach in the community and even my breeders, I'd like to incorporate into my reptile outreach. Especially since butters are such a gorgeous, unique color. People would really love to see one.

Anyway, forgive me if I have so many questions, but I want to be 100% sure before I purchase the mother of my future babies! ;)

I got her from a friend who no longer breeds, I looked up her ACR to confirm her age and found out she is possible het Motley. She is a 2004 and is very handleable. She doesn't throw huge clutches but produces a nice clutch of about 12-14 eggs usually. I am in the south bay, just south of San Jose.

I want to throw out here.... that I've never received a snake from Carol that wasn't handleable. The 2005 Miami, Bruce, that I got from her is nothing but a big sweetheart. The hatchlings and yearling I've gotten are also easy to hold, never hiss, tail-rattle, or bite. I've done business and will continue to do business with her for a very long time I hope. I've never been anything but satisfied. Thank you Carol!

What a gorgeous butter! I've wanted a female butter for so long but it seems plenty of people would love to get their hands on this one. Plus I don't suppose you'd ship to the uk would you?

Nope, not until August, and I sure hope she sells by then. Really if she hasn't found a home by the end of next month, she will be sticking around.

This girl is in post brumaton shed. Completely ready to go. About one more week and she will be off the market for the year.
