Tiny hides for tiny corns?

What does every one use for hides for new hatchlings? When we got our first corn, we used the smallest planter saucer we could find, 4" I think. But our first corn was already several months old, and our new hatchling that is a month old today looks small enough that I think he'd be happier with something smaller.

little paper portion cups like you get ketchup in work well...just snip out a little door.

I got a paper shredder (one that doesn't cross cut) and shred paper and then put crumpled pieces of the long shreds for hides. They can crawl around in it and its cheap and easy to clean (i.e. throw away!). Also provides plenty of hiding. This so far has been the best that I've come up with for dealing with hatchlings and hiding.

mine love the toilet paper rolls and when they get bigger they move up to christmas wrapping paper rolls cut to fit their enclosures.

yes my new hatchlings have kitchen paper and upside down square yoghurt pots but they just hide under the paper towel.

I have all ma tubs with toilet paper rolls and for ma yearlings paper towel rolls it works good they like it. Babys do fine with the toilet paper rolls that's what I use for ma hatcling rack.
So it all comes down to wat u like. We all do it differently, if ur going to display the snake u probably want something nice looking if u are raising it for ur own collection use anything u like its all ur choice almost everything works remember paper rolls are easy to replace and cheap to get.

I have the stereotypical half-log hides in most of my tanks. And while my snakes love it for shedding, they prefer the other objects in the tank... And those are fake plants (vines or ferns) that have been glued into a styrofoam base. They love hiding under and amongst the leaves.

I've always wanted to do this, but my corn was a little too big for them when I got him - http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showpost.php?p=495640&postcount=20
What I do for mine, is I put a smallish sock over a toilet paper roll, and ta-da! You have a hide. My Corn loves it! I also have a hanging hide made out of a thick cardboard tube, and he's in that 90% of the time. :) I think the sock hide is a good thing, because they're secure, and they don't see you peeking in on them most of the time. I can tell which one he's in because there's a little lump in the toes. :) The best part of it is, they're so easy to clean. Just throw them in the washer and dryer, and they're ready to be used again. :) Here's a picture of the hides I use:

I usually just cut TP rolls in half... I have also taken broken terracotta flowerpots and used the little pieces as hides.

I use toilet paper tubes cut in half lengthwise, also the boxes smoked oysters come in as well with a small hole cut in the side as a door
