Cornsnake Adds

jpccusa

Happy with this new hobby
There are so many of those in the internet. But sometimes I feel like contacting the posters just to give feedback about their adds.

Here is what I am talking about:
2 adult corn snakes, both hets. (for what?) the female is mostly white with yellow and light blue (A LIGHT BLUE CORN!)on parts. The male is orange and red with white (Very precise description). ask for pics and make an offer. cash only please. Female looks gravid (Probably just fat) and both are proven breeders and in their prime. each is appox. 3.5 to 4 ft in length. cage and lights available.

Or

5' ball python and 4' corn snake in huge glass aquarium (4'-2'-2').
They get along great and I will not separate them because they grew up together, they get along so well that they even curl up together. (Like if they would be so depressed when apart, being such social animals like they are) This is a great deal, usually just one of these snakes would be over well over $100 and Im including both along with a $150 aquarium for only $100. Pretty firm on the price but if you are willing to pick it up before Thursday night I might be willing to negotiate a little.

And

My corn snake has returned (it figured it was better inside) after escaping from his cage, and I've decided to sell him since my roommates were freaked out by him getting out. He's about 2 years old, standard color for corn snake (this can be debatable), and a healthy eater, one medium mouse a week.

Please post any outrageous or comic add(s) you come across.

Those are nice...where did they come from?

Reminds me of this one that I found a while back...had to keep so I know how NOT to post and ad.....

-Albino Corn Snake-1 Foot Long
I just got him from the pet store yesterday but I soon realized that my dorm is not going to be able to keep this quiet.... He's really sweet though, active, eats well, hasn't bitten anyone, holdable. I really dont know how old he is but he's only a foot long if that and they told me he was a baby.

-Hypomalamistic Cornsnake Red Orange White
its beautiful snake, hes about2.5 feet long
awesome color, a white under belly, main color is orange, and big red spots
umm, i dont know much about snakes, i know more about geckos, so, if you have any questions, lemme know

-2 corn snakes and tank
I have two corn snakes-male(approx 7 yrs) and female(approx 5 yrs)-a 50 gallon tank, a seperate feeding tank, two light bells(100 watt max and 150 watt max). Great snakes, male kind of stubborn, female very calm and relaxed. The two have been together for the past 4 years and are very attached. Sly needs a family that is patient and calm and Family Stone needs a family that is loving and wanting to give a lot of attention to a loving snake. She's very calm, will sleep in your hands, loves to crawl into sleeves of shirts. Sly is the male, stubborn and "spastic" but not violent. Should be handled daily so he gets used to you.

Sorry for the double post, but I just found one more...

Another craigslist one

Very healthy & decease free.
FREE TO A NICE PERSON W/ a $80.00 relocation fee.

I don't know if $80 is what I call free lol. And decease free? I guess it's not dead? (yet)

On Craigslist you are going to get ads for "pet owners" and not herpers. You're likely to find all kinds of goofey things there.

Right! And that's what it's hilarious/sad/outrageous... People having snakes as pets and still not knowing ANYTHING about it. They deserve to be flamed by us behind their backs. :D

red tail boa, he is about 3 1/2 to 4 feet long, he is still young only about two years old, He has never bit anybody or even came close, He is not a very aggressive snake, we usually feed him two small mice every 2-3 weeks, im not sure on the size of the tank we have him in, i think its a 50 gal. ???? but im not postive, i put a pic of it on there, if you are interested we can take more pics of him too. the screen on the top of the tank, one of the clips broke we just put duck tape on it to make sure he does not escape or anything... rehoming fee $130 obo to a good home, dont have time to take him out regularly. maybe open to a trade for something???? not to sure what though??????? it dont hurt to ask...
Usually feed him??? There are now 1002 uses for Duct Tape! And I'm starting to think only hillbillies post on my area craigslist.

This one is not of a corn snake, but...

6 ft. male cal king snake looking for a new home (I wonder why the snake decided to find a new home :shrugs:). if you can provide a good enviroment and care. zero is waiting to hear from you (Poor thing... I can picture him pacing in his viv). hand raised and every tame. (maybe Zero's helper should read the add again before submitting it?)

I saw this one a few months back. It's kinda sad:

Rehoming 3 snakes in a 55 gallon. One is a red tail boa. One looks like a worm. The other is another type of boa but I cant remember I think maybe a regular tail???? anyway, we had four snakes, but one escaped... we havint seen it since. The other one we found in the cage dead. It was all gross and its head was like deformed or something. We're selling the remaining two for 300 including the tank, sand, water bowl, heat rock, & a house thingy . To a good home only because we really care about are snakes.

I know I didn't start off doing things right when I got snakes, but this scares me. What's a regular tail boa? What's a snake that looks like a worm? And they're selling three snakes, but had four. But one escaped and one died? So did they find the one that escaped or can they just not count? And I wonder what happened to the one that died? It didn't say what sizes these snakes were but I'm guessing most of the snakes were probably bought for the thrill factor.

I kept this one just to remind myself to double read my ads and make sure that I don't sound like I was raised under a rock.

EVERYone but me can find Craig's List ads for corns! I find absolutely none, and I've been looking for two months! :headbang:

I have an okeetee corn snake she is about 18 months to 2 years old. She is very healthy and eats like a champ she will eat frozen or live fuzzys. She is over 30 inches so she is breedable I am asking $75 for her plus a 10 gallon tank, heat lamp, water bowl, and hide. If you are interested please reply to this posting or call ***-***-****. My name is Ben thanks for looking.

And the picture...

I found one a few months ago that was pretty depressing. They were selling a male & female proven classic corn pair, only as a pair. I don't remember much of what the ad said but the picture they had showed the two snakes, they looked a little skinny, and the "tank" that they were in & that came with. It was a fairly big Reptarium (sp?) those mesh cages & two heat lamps.
Then there's this one on right now.

"October '09 Snow Cornsnakes
I have two young snow cornsnakes that need a new home. One male, one female. They are about 5 months old. They are eating well. They each eat one f/t fuzzy per week and have never skipped a meal. They are shedding regularly. They have been well taken care of and have no health concerns. They are light colored so it is hard to capture how beautiful their pattern is in a pic. They are currently being housed together in a 15 gallon tank. I am asking a rehoming fee of $20 per snake or $60 for both snakes and their set up. This includes cage, heat pad, lamp, water dish, and hide log. I spent around $60 on the setup alone."

That one actually is not too bad. Then there's this one on now too.

"Two Corn Snakes
I have two female corn snakes. One Albino, one Ocatee. The Ocatee has bright yellow and gray that can't be seen here. Both are about four months old now. They are eating frozen/thawed fussys. They have not ever bitten anyone. I have too many animals. The ten gallon tank comes with them although they will need a bigger one soon. It does have a small three inch crack but this tank is not made to hold water anyway. You will need to buy your own under tank heater or light. These pictures are taken right before a shed so their colors are as dull as they get. They are very brightly colored. They do get held and are very sweet. If you are interested in more snakes please ask.
I would like $50 for all."

That's because you, no offense, live in the middle of nowhere. I am a Burner (Burning Man) so I am very familiar with Sparks. :)

"Don't have time to take him out regularly... maybe open to trade for something" So... you don't have time for your boa, but you have time for a different new animal?
