Telling the Difference

Emanon

This and That
Ok so I stole a parenting lesson from VJ and brought my daughter "into" the business lol... She now has an amel het lavender... we paired her with my ultramel het lavender... we have an ultramel, opal, 2 lavenders, and 5 amels... now... I do not for the life of me know how to tell an ultramel lavender from a lavender... first year producing the lavenders you know...

Is it that ultramel lavenders are more peachey???

SO please school me on that little tidbit

thank you very much... both red pupils!!!

Now I wonder if the opal could be ultramel as well... :grabbit:

Actually, according to the Corn Snake Morph Guide, "many lavenders will have ruby colored eyes." Ruby pupils alone don't indicate ultra. I don't have any answers fro you on how to differentiate, but I wanted to say I LOVE the zigzaggy baby!

I'm pretty much useless in this thread, having never hatched out a lavender, or ultramel, never mind a combination of the two. I just wanted to say that's one SWEET zigzag baby!
