Update: "Powder" - Amel + Anery + Charcoal + Hypo

Jay@PJCReptiles

"Quality Before Quantity"
Hi Everyone,
Thought this guy was due for an update as well and with a little prodding and poking by Brent, well, here he is. It is very hard to capture his true coloration. I have teken quite a few pictures in different lighting so you can make comparisons. It has been pretty dismal around here weather wise so I wasn't able to get any shots in natural light.
He is still showing somewhat of a pattern and getting some real pink under color while still having this transparent look to him. He still has the lacey look exhibited by the tipping of his scales. Something else I noticed a while back is he seems to have a light blueish pigmentation that covers most of the iris. Something else that has held true is the fact that he has a perfectly clear belly. I find this very strange with no pattern traits being used. Again, there are quite a few pictures so please be patient. Thanks for looking and I hope you like.

Jay

Wow!!

That is a one of a kind. Just as you discribe. A transparent look and having a blueish iris.

What are you plans with him Jay.
Shhhhhhhh

Thanks for the replies Lenny and Robbie.

Actually Lenny he is now 1 of 3. Brent was lucky enough to produce two others this year. They look exactly like "Powder" did when he hatched. It is nice to have a comparison from what he looked like then til now. He will be put back into the same breeding project as to make more and probably used to make a couple new projects.

WOW!!! Powder's looking spectacular!
Thanks Robbie I think he is kinda special myself. Most of all, if it weren't for Brent I woulndn't even have been able to produce him.

Shoot. I just offered up the parents for sale. You made the decision to purchase them, so I can't take all the credit. It could have been anyone else that had the chance to produce the first (confirmed). ;)

Thanks a bunch for the update. Notice I was waiting patiently after my initial poking and prodding! I can't figure out why you haven't succumbed to the blue bowl religion yet. :sidestep:

PS. I find taking pictures on cloudy/partly cloudy days preferable to complete sun. :shrugs:

I love his pinkey colors.....
He is really becomming a very handsome powdered snakie.

Congrats again for the little cutie.
