Mango, Opal Stripe, at the Water Garden

Nanci

Alien Lover
When I got home from working all night my newest water lily, Mrs. George the second, was blooming. My first thought was to get Noah, because he looked so nice with the first Mrs. George, but then I thought I'll see what Mango can do with her!

The Mrs. George lily is a tropical night bloomer. She blooms long after I have gone to bed, and is not open when I come home from work. I only get to see her if a night shift coincides with a bloom and I am home at 7-8 AM.

Mango is a 2008 VMS opal stripe. He's 20g and growing like a weed! This is only his second time outside.

I love how Mango's colors go with the Black Magic rose, which is not in bloom...

This is another rose which I cannot remember the name of. Mango is really doing well at his modeling job!

(Edit: This is the Veteran's Honor rose).

I tried to get a full body shot of Mangy, (That is Mang Gee!) but he really started to come to life and is too small to set down in a body of water!! Here he is with the weeping mullberry.

Thanks you guys! Good thing I got those pics when I did; Mrs. George is all closed up tight now, probably due to the big thunderstorm.

Great pics of an awesome looking snake, Nanci. Flowers are beautiful too! Wow.

I really don't like to eat mangoes (unless they're green with a smelly Filipino fish/shrimp concoction)... but Mango is deliciously gorgeous! LOL.

I love that you're the right sort of crazy, Nanci. You get home from a nightshift, and instead of just going off to sleep you get these beautiful moments with your pets..and then you share them! Mrs George and Mango are a winning combination
