A long time ago I posted pics of Cosmo, my '06 male Lavender, and remember Deano (Roy Munson) asking if I was sure he wasn't a Hypo Lavender. Well I bought him as a Lavender with no known hets, so only breeding would confirm one way or the other.
He got his first chance at the ladies this year (Cosmo that is, not Deano
) and has performed wonderfully! His first lady was Beauty, my female Ghost het Amel, who produced 22 good eggs, one of which went bad during incubation, the rest of which started pipping last Friday 3rd July 2009, after 73 days of incubation . So far 20 of the 21 remaining eggs have hatched or pipped and there is not a single Normal or Anery in the clutch. They are all Hypos, Ghosts, Snows and Amels, so that leads me to believe that not only is Cosmo a Hypo Lavender but he is also het for Amel and Anery! And if he is a Hypo Lavender that makes the Amel, a Hypo Amel and the Snows would be Hypo Snows!!!
