My First Crested - Marlon

bella

mmm zombies....
hello everyone, i usually don't post that often (something i am trying to fix :) lol) but during the last weekend in August i drove up to the Red Deer reptile expo in Alberta. this is the one show i usually go to every year. and after a year of researching and contemplating i finally got a crested gecko! it seemed like the perfect "first lizard" for me. though i don't know the sex yet-i believe he\she is around 4 months old-i named him Marlon. the vendor happened to have both parents at the show, and both were a gorg. light yellow-and the mom had some dalmation spots. so i am hoping he will turn out like his parents.
the first set of pics are when i first got him, his temp. housing until he is big enough for the 20 gall., and his first day at home. yes there is a pic of me.... don't laugh lol :p
and the second set is some i took yesterday.the last one was when he was a little poed and fired up.
anyways enjoy the pics....

on a side note. why would you say not to laugh at you? your a pretty girl. dont let anyone say different.

thanks for the all the comments :) i am so happy i finally got him-he already has such a big personality for such a little guy. he is still a little jumpy, but he is still young and hopefully he will calm a bit after some handling.
but i am afraid these guys might become as addicting as corn snakes....lol

Cute lil bugger! I'd like to predict that it won't be your last...I started with one too...about four months ago, now I have four and two eggs in the cooker as well.
