Riviere's rainbow coils...

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
Riv loves his food, a lot. He will throw a bazillion coils around even the smallest of prey items. I like how these shots show off his funky viv background :)

More please?

It's just an iridescent foil gift bag that I cut to size and stuck onto the back of his viv. It's the only ugly glass tank I have, so I thought I would funk it up a bit. All my other vivs are wooden and naturally decorated so they would just not look right with a psychedelic rainbow background.

Beautiful snake, and that viv background is to DIE for! When my babies move into their permanent homes this year I may get them some nice colors... Also I can't wait until they start "killing" their f/t prey... anyone who think you have to feed live to see a constrictor's amazing skills at predation has never seen pictures like these.

I agree. You should see the state of Panther (my biggest and oldest corn) when he decides to pin his moose up against the viv wall until it bleeds from every orifice. Then he waits... coils... waits some more, savours the scent, chews on limbs a bit, waits to make sure it's dead, re-strikes then gobbles it in an instant.

He's so beautiful!!! I love his background. I wish I had backgrounds on my vivs...

Wow! He is suck a looker! :D And those pictures are beautiful! They capture all of the colors so well!!

And that is a really cool idea for the background. :]

Great background, great looking snake, great photography skills! I love the enthusiasm & skill corns bring to "killing" their f/t food! Post some Panther nomming pictures please. I want to see the squooshed moose being chewed on!
