Awesome pictures!!! Thanks for sharing, When I think of Germany I never think of there being reptiles there, much less vipers, thanks for opening my eyes to your beautiful reptiles and country.

ps) which one is the rare one?

Wow, what beautiful photos of such beautiful reptiles! I love the second picture of Natrix natrix. So cute! Thanks for sharing! :}

Those are really beautiful photos/animals! The vipers look like mean little devils. Are the vipers found in Switzerland as well?

Such wonderful pictures! And I love that black viper, too, but my second thought (first being "wow! he's GORGEOUS!") was he looks like he's gonna mess up someone's day!

Really nice pictures, I live in Rheinland Pfalz and go to the woods almost every day where I live but have never seen any snakes here. I have come across a blindschleiche (Anguis fragilis) / legless lizard two times in my 10 years here though which was really impressive. The first one I saw was a very big adult, unfortunately the pictures I had got lost on an old hard drive. - I see a lot of the lizards you posted in my backyard in the summertime here as well.

I was wondering though, do you know any good places in Germany to order frozen mice from? I have seen frostfutter.de but wondering if there are any other places to look in to? There are only a couple small pet stores in my area and they seem to be really expensive for frozen mice and half the time have to order what I need.
