The super adventures of Charlie Bear Wooflington!

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
I think I will update this thread (Along the same lines as J9 does with Rosie) on Charlies latest adventures.

Today we went for a walk/training session in the snow down to the main park in the Village. We go here quite often as it's a 10 minute walk from the house, and it is pretty well enclosed to let him off his lead.

This week we went back to basics with recall traning. I bought a new whistle (Acme, 211 1/2 pitch) and he is responding extremely well to it. We were training on the 30ft lunge lead for 20 mins before I let him off lead. He was focused, responding well to the whistle and there were no distractions around. Here he is just having fun being the bouncy pup he is!

Pottering around down by the riverside...

He is just too cute Elle! Glad to hear he is doing so well with his training. Look forward to coming back here in the future to see what else you and charlie get into...lol

Thanks! Charlie responds extremely well to my overly enthusiastic ways. He is a drama queen of a dog, so our learning methods are on par, and he seems to agree with my training methods too. I think we shall go along the cycle path tomorrow, under all the bridges of doom and past the metal army guards. Seriously, those things scare me. I WILL need to take pictures to explain that lol.

I love the fact that he likes to catch & eat snowballs! What a doggie thing!

Oh no no, he won't catch them. He just wants to be hand fed them LOL!

He doesn't drink outside for some reason, so I suppose it's a good thing he will eat snowballs as he is usually panting away and exhausted by the end of our adventures! I just wish there was a constant supply of snowballs for Squire Charles!

Charlie looks like he had an absolutely super fantastic time! I always wonder what my girls would do with snow since none of them have ever seen it...well, maybe Sierra did once as a puppy when I was still in ohio, but that would have been almost 11yrs ago.

Oh noooo! You have a big wolfie dog that has never really seen snow? Surley thats a crime. Send her to Scotland and I'll show her exactly how to have fun in snow :)

Charlie bounds about in the snow like a little baby deer. He does the cutest ever pouncy thing when the snow is powdery. Today it was icey so he wasn't doing his pouncy thing at all really :(

The sad part is that I think Sierra would really enjoy it too. She loves to play outside in the rain and mud - so I imagine snow to her would be a ton of fun.

Charlie in the snow! Excellent! That looks such a lovely place to walk and he's having so much fun, what a good boy!

Thanks guys :) Charlie has still not been his long walk today. I'm having a very emotional and stressful day, so I hope now that we have both had dinner and some time to digest that we can let off some steam on our walk.

Elle, he is just too adorable!!! I love the third shot in the first post and the second one in the second post. I think Sir Charles and Miss Maggie would have a blast playing in the snow together...she's been having a heck of a time in the 15 or so inches we got the other day!!

LOL I love that action shot too. He looks like a wee running bear!

Remind me, what does Maggie look like? Peeeectures! :)

Our snow's all gone now, but my sister took a hilarious film of her 3 jack russells and pug pulling a sled with her granddaughter on!

I don't have many of her (I really need to fix that...), but here she is with the wonderful Anakin Skywalker:

She's half boxer, half Queensland heeler...she looks very pit bull-esque in person.

Oh she is lovely, and shiney! Is she a mad runaway like Charles?
